Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown by IHG

The hotel is fantastic. The room was super clean and smelled great. Re: the Rooftop bar- The new toasted marshmallow whisky cocktail is amazing as was the Coach cocktail. Verdie at the bar was so fantastic that she remembered my coworkers comment about not liking whisky and preferring vodka and she brought out the toasted marshmallow drink for her made with vodka. These drinks were incredible and delicious! She was so attentive and thoughtful and brought out cushions to the rooftop bar since they had been put up because of inclement weather earlier. Props to Alison for the new toasted marshmallow cocktail as this is so good it’s worth the drive to the hotel just to come to the bar!!!

We had such a wonderful experience at the restaurants inside Hotel Indigo thanks to our amazing server, Jaeden at dinner time and Teagan at breakfast! From the moment we were seated, Jaeden and Teagan provided exceptional customer service — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our meals were served promptly, everything came out perfectly timed, and the food was absolutely delicious. You could tell there was care in both the service and the kitchen. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality we received, which made the experience even better. And the next part.. we could bring our four legged friends! If you’re dining at Hotel Indigo, ask for Jaeden and Teagan you won’t be disappointed!

Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown was perfect from start to finish. The location is unbeatable next to the River Walk and conveniently close to the University of Alabama. Check-in was quick and easy, and the rooftop bar was the perfect place to relax after a long day of travel. Elliot and Verdie took excellent care of us. Once Elliot learned we were in town touring the university with our son, he went out of his way to answer questions and make us feel welcome. Wonderful service, beautiful hotel, and an overall fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome stay at Hotel Indigo in Tuscaloosa. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The highlight was the rooftop bar, The Lookout! Great view, great drinks and the staff was wonderful! Especially our server Elliott and bartender Verdie! We’ll definitely be back!

Hotel Indigo was amazing! We stayed one night in a king bed overlooking the River, the room was clean and very comfortable! The shower was hands down my favorite part of the room! We also took full advantage of having The Lookout Bar to go get drinks our first night! Teagan, gave us amazing recommendations and made fantastic drinks - I ordered Farmers Market, it was so beautiful with a flower garnish and was the perfect blend of fresh and sweet! Highly recommend!

I had two separate stays at this Hotel Indigo for business. Tuscaloosa is a really wonderful place and several team members at this hotel elevated that even further: Dedrick and Teagan. Dedrick really was so professional and hospitable after a long travel day and made my last-minute, late night meal on the rooftop such a relief. Teagan did a great job serving breakfast the following morning, juggling quite a bit by herself and with a pleasant attitude! There were two women serving on the rooftop another night that also did a great job hosting us for dinner another night. With Heritage House being walkable for breakfast and coffee the remaining mornings, and the easy parking and location near the river, all amounts to this hotel being a great place to stay. It might be a tough walk up the hill to the rest of downtown for some folks, but the hotel stay is worth it! Rooms were clean, the toiletries in the bathrooms were great. Beautiful, large windows. Great HVAC, great artwork.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Indigo in Tuscaloosa. I was there for a quick work trip and from checkin to checkout the experience was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was spacious and water pressure/temperature was perfect (that’s an issue for me in some hotels). The Lookout in the roof was a lovely vibe. The two servers we had (Elliott on Wednesday and Teagan on Thursday) were both fantastic! They were kind and patient as we were taking a while to order due to too much chatting . Teagan turned on the fire pit for us when we asked. They were both so sweet! If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely choose to stay at Hotel Indigo.

Great hotel! Stayed here for a business trip, and thought this was a great location - room and hotel was clean overall with comfortable beds and hot water! Loved that I could go get a drink and take it back down to my room- Teagan was the bartender who fixed my drinks. Service was as great and fast! Enjoyed the space very much!
